Fund-raising for charity

Donna Louise Children’s Hospice

I have organised four 24-hour pool marathons in aid of the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice. My friends, Sentinel colleagues and I have raised in excess of £5,000 for the charity’s Treetops hospice at Trentham Lakes, Stoke-on-Trent.

I co-hosted a variety show in aid of the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice at the Mitchell Arts Centre in Hanley with BBC Radio Stoke presenter Denholm Siegertz. We had some phenomenally-talented local acts on the line-up and the event raised more than £2,000 for the Treetops hospice.

Cheetham’s Children’s Ward

My friends and I organised a ghost-hunt at Burslem’s historic Leopard pub which raised around £1,000 for the Cheetham’s Children’s Ward at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire.

Help For Heroes

I organised a Halloween disco for pupils at my daughters’ school which raised £250 for armed forces charity Help For Heroes. In the near future my friends and I will be staging a 24-hour pool marathon for this very worthy cause. Sponsorship details coming soon…
